CYBER SECURITY with Shane
WHEN: 11:30am – 1pm, Sunday
WHERE: Hut

Unless citizens of the internet take responsibility for their own online security, it will be corporations and governments that do it for us. I don’t think there are many that like their definition of security. Workshop will be a mix of information download and discussion. Everyone can do something towards greater security and anonymity online.

GETTING SERIOUS ABOUT REVOLUTION with Theo
WHEN: 11:30am – 1pm, Sunday
WHERE: Barn

What would our movements need to look like for us to actually be able to have anarchist revolutions all around the world? And how could we support those kinds of movements to scale relatively quickly? We need to start getting really serious about these questions, what with climate change and everything else. I’ve got some new ideas (have changed my politics from Doing It Ourselves style thinking), and would love to hear others’ ideas and share feedback.

DEMOCRACY, CAPITALISM & TECHNOLOGY with Tim
WHEN: 2pm – 3:30pm, Sunday
WHERE: Hut

DIRECT ACTION with Jess & Brian
WHEN: 2pm – 3:30pm, Sunday

COLOURFUL FROCKS: WHY ANARCHIST IDEAS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANARCHIST FASHION with Nicola
WHEN: 4pm – 5:30pm, Saturday
WHERE: Hut

PLUMBING with Fraser
WHEN: 4pm – 5:30pm, Sunday
WHERE: Barn

A short tutorial on how to repair toilets. Two full cisterns of different types have been donated, if anybody has an old cistern lying around and is curious, feel free to bring it, but please remember it will need to go with you on the way out of the camp. Depending on availability of shutoff valves, tap washer changing will be included in the kitchen area, as long as it is not too busy with cooks and cleaning. Time pending there may be a workshop on roof leaks, if it hasn’t already been covered in the introduction to DIY section.

All queries welcome outside of workshop hours.

Monday

EMPOWERMENT IN THE AGE OF DESPAIR with Aneira (& Vaughn)
When: 10am – 11:30am, Sunday
Where: Hut

This workshop is a conversation on the latest science about diet and quantum consciousness. How does the vibration of our thoughts and diet affect our well-being? By eating a plant based, whole food, nutrient dense diet we are able to accomplish more. By being aware of our thoughts we can manifest the life we desire.

MASSAGE with Fraser
WHEN: 10am – 11:30am, Sunday
WHERE: Barn

This will be over the clothes massage only, focussing on the back, shoulders and neck, both prone (lying on stomach) and supine (lying on back). No articles of clothing will be removed during this demonstration.

It will also require people working in pairs, anybody who is not comfortable massaging another person or being massaged is welcome to observe. smile emoticon

A towel will be required to lie on, for a barrier between yourself and the ground. An extra towel or handtowel may be required as a headrest in the supine (lying on back) position.

Please remember this is a safer spaces workshop and proper respect must be shown at all times.
